Options for Graduate Credit, CRUs, and CEUs
Certification renewal units (CRUs) and continuing education units (CEUs) are now available at no additional cost to conference participants. Please indicate during the online registration if you are hoping to acquire any of these; we will provide documentation at the end of the conference for your records. Graduate credit is available at an additional cost. Please see below for more information.

Options for Earning Graduate Credit
You may register for up to three graduate credits of G581 through Indiana University. The cost of one graduate credit is currently $269.05. Register now.
Online graduate credit registration will be from March 31, 2008-June 8, 2008. Additionally, you can register for graduate credit at the conference June 16-19, 2008. If you are a current IU student please DO NOT register through OneStart.
The requirements are listed below for earning each credit:
One Credit
- Fulltime attendance for the Munger Conference, June 16-18
- Three page paper discussing the session you found the most helpful to your work as a professional serving youth
Two Credits
- Fulltime attendance for the Munger Conference, June 16-18 and the Advanced workshops on June 19
- Five page paper discussing 2-3 of the sessions you found to be most helpful to your work as a professional serving youth
Three Credits
- Fulltime attendance at the Munger Conference June 16-18 and the Advanced workshops on June 19
- Five page paper discussing 2-3 of the sessions you found to be most helpful to your work as a professional serving youth
- Ten page paper options (please make this assignment as relevant and meaningful to your work as possible): 1) describe how and why you will implement a new counseling/career program in your school; 2) research a relevant and current topic of your profession that is of interest to you; or 3) focus on another project approved by the instructor
For credit to be earned by the end of the summer session, all papers must be submitted to Catherine Gray, at catgray@indiana.edu by July 25th, 2008, unless prior arrangements have been made.
CRUs
CRUs are only available for teachers or counselors who already have a master's degree. One CRU is awarded for two attendance hours at the conferences. The number of CRUs available for each day of the Munger Conference and Advanced Workshops are listed below:
Monday: 3 CRUs (6.5 contact hours)
Tuesday: 4 CRUs (8.25 contact hours)
Wednesday: 3.5 CRUs (7.25 contact hours)
Thursday: 3 CRUs (6.25 contact hours)
Total: 14 CRUs (28.25 contact hours)

CEUs
For the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency, Indiana State Psychology Board, the National Board of Certified Counselors, and the Indiana Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist and Mental Health Counselor Board, one CEU equals one attendance hour at the conferences.
The number of CEUs available for each day of the Munger Conference and Advanced Workshops are listed below:
Monday: 6.5 CEUs
Tuesday: 8.25 CEUs
Wednesday: 7.25 CEUs
Thursday: 6.25 CEUs
Total: 28 CEUs (rounded down from 28.25 contact hours)
